Monday o Monday

I spent most of the weekend packing and working. In the process of that, of course I had to take a break to capture the cutest thing ever. I can't get enough of that face.



I am almost all packed up (early I know). I'm moving the last weekend of March, my landlord is letting me in early. Woooot. I am so pumped to decorate a new space. I love change.

Still have some things in the bedroom to pack up, but kitchen, living room and bathroom are good to go. In the process of packing up clothes, Elmo makes himself comfy in a pile.



It's supposed to be 44 tomorrow and 50 by Thursday, I'm so excited that spring is on it's way!

Oooh Weee

Do you ever feel like all you say when someone asks what you've been up to is "work"? How lame is that? Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy that I'm busy, that's for sure. But honestly a need to do something crazy to spice life up a bit.

Things I'm pumped about:

:: New apartment in less than a month!
:: Packing up my stuff (YES I do dig this)
:: Spring is on it's way
:: Project runway season finale in 3 minutes

Some freelance work done for Dream Weaver Gift Baskets. Logo, Business Card, Banners -- more to come.

Frogwings

Still plugging away on freelance, listening to some Frogwings & Oteil. I'm starting to think about hiring movers to just move my stuff. Not pack it of course, I actually love the packing and unpacking part. I think I'm going to get some quotes.

taking a break from working...

:: Elmo is doing much better - he's even playing lately. Hopefully gaining back some of the weight he has lost.

Happy 2008!

It's been a long time, I know. I haven't really felt up to blogging lately. I am happy for a new year, this one will be better than the last - I can feel it.

I had a great Christmas/New Year with the family. Michigan was beautiful with plenty of snow. Back in Chicago and it's currently 62 degrees and thunderstorming. Wonderful! Gotta love a January day in the 60's!




I am currently busy:

:: Getting my tax's ready (shiza!)
:: Redoing my Trudesign portfolio
:: Catching up on freelance design work
:: Getting consignment orders out for Truche
:: Organizing my apartment, getting rid of clothing and items I don't need
:: Studying up on CSS2
:: Focusing on eating healthier and working out more often

Goals for 2008:

:: Focus on Trudesign's business
:: Getting completely and totally organized with accounting and taxes
:: Make my way out of the 9-5 job and into total self employment
:: Find a new inspiring place to live and work

In other news, I started a etsy shop for Trudesign, where I'll be selling logo's banners, postcards etc.
