Self Portrait Tuesday

Here I am on playing in the sand on vacation this summer at Indian Lake, Ohio. My dad's side of the family goes here every year for a week. It's about 30 of us in a small cottage on the lake..... probably the most fun and the most laughing I do all year.

crazy thing here i believe. i was just cruising around, came across your blog and see that you live directly across the street from my old place in chicago. i lived in 1809 w. wabansia, the tiny blue house that you undoubtedly could probably just glance out your window and see right now. have moved since, but really loved that neighborhood. so many interesting places to go and so much better than life in other chicago hoods like lincoln park or uptown. anyway...

lincoln park totally blows.
except for that knitting shop, which is ok SOMETIMES, altho they can snub you if you aren't buying $300 worth of wool sometimes.
i'm partial to lincoln square..but maybe that's cause there's abunch of germans and from sept-oct there's a german fest every weekend, or excuse to drink beer. (and eat those fabulous soft pretzels)

your picture is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than mine. i need to go kick nat in the shins.

I'm looking at your house right now link! You know the 1807 wabansia house, with the super small apartments? It has been for rent for months now, I looked at it and they want way too much for rent!

I agree - I hate Lincoln Park. It's not my thing, too snooty. I love my new neighborhood so much, your right link there is so much to do and i've already met so many cool people here.
